Jenny (she/her/hers) is a Raleigh native (by way of New Jersey) who attended NC State University for herundergraduate degree. “Go Pack!” She is a second-generation occupational therapist who spent many hours as a kid in a Sensory Integration clinic with her mom.  Jenny always knew that she wanted to specialize in both pediatrics and Ayres Sensory Integration which ultimately led her to Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Master’s of Occupational Therapy.  While at VCU, Jenny won several scholarships and had the honor of studying under some of the best faculty and researchers within the areas of occupational therapy, Ayres’ Sensory Integration, and pediatrics.

Jude Upchurch, OTA/L

Jude (he/him/his) is an OTA graduate from Durham Technical Community College, with years of experience serving the autism community as a habilitation technician. He spent his first two years as an OTA splitting time between home health and outpatient pediatrics.  As a child, he started his path towards Occupational Therapy by adoring his autistic brother while growing up together in Apex, NC. Jude believes therapy should be lighthearted, fun, and accepting to promote confidence, sense of self, and felt safety while exploring challenges through play. He enjoys entering our clients’ and families’ worlds, meeting them where they’re at for the day, and gently guiding development with evidence-based interventions. Off the clock, he spends quality time with friends, family, and nature—meditating, exercising, gaming, and surfing YouTube to research client interests or discover a new hobby that provides a surge of life.
